  • Is MealScout free?
    Yes — completely free during beta. No credit card, no trial period, no catch.
  • Do I need to download an app?
    No. MealScout runs inside Telegram — just open the bot and start chatting. Your dashboard opens in any browser.
  • How accurate are the estimates?
    AI estimates are typically within 10-15% for common foods. Including nutrition labels or specifying portions improves accuracy significantly. You can always edit after logging.
  • Is my data private?
    Your food data stays in our database and is never sold or shared. We only use it to show you your own tracking data.
  • Can I use MealScout without photos?
    Absolutely. Just type what you ate — "chicken breast, rice, broccoli" — and it'll estimate the nutrition. Photos are optional.
